The Marble Mystery is an interior design project that explores the tension between material weight and spatial lightness. Veined marble panels line every wall of the principal rooms, their natural patterning selected and matched so that the joins between panels form a continuous geological narrative.
Pendant lighting hangs at varying heights above the central axis, casting warm cones of light that animate the marble's surface differently throughout the day. At midday the stone reads pale and cool; as the afternoon light shifts, warm tones emerge from deep within the veining.
The furniture palette was deliberately restrained — dark stained oak, aged brass hardware, and a single large-format rug — so that the marble itself remains the protagonist of every room.
